A new friend...
Hi there! How are you? How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good... I finally finished a new friend for my personal zoo. Meet the zebra, "Why, hello there gorgeous" (acrylic and ink on 10x10 canvas). And if you are wondering about the name, ask Mr. Harper (aka the husband), he is the new person in charge of naming my artwork ;)

Gosh the detail just takes my breath away! Here's a fun fact about zebras.. still remember when I taught my students about them when I was a preschool teacher... If black and white stripes are painted on a wall, zebras will go stand by them.. I guess to be in the safety of a flock?
