Hi there Valentina...

My first post seems to have dissapeared. So, trying again.

Anyway, just wanted to say how lovely your fabrics have turned out. The designs are gorgeous, and I love them. I am very impressed with the print quality. This encourages me to proceed with my own order from Spoonflower. I haven't ordered till now as I am in the UK. But, have been nagged by a few friends to order some.

I may be ordering some of your fabrics myself....they are so dynamic.

Best wishes
Lorrie

p.s. I asked on one of your previous posts what kind of pens you use to do the fill on your canvas illustrations. I too often incorporate ink work in my canvas paintings and use Rotring Isograph pens, and then varnish after using a varnish for oil paints. What about you?

HI Lorrie, thanks for your comment!
Spoonflower is great, you are going to love it!

Regarding my pens, I responded that in this post http://valentinaramos.blogspot.com/2011/05/more-about-process-and-new-print.html
Well, I use Koh I Noor Rapidographs pens with black ink. Sometimes I put some gloss protective finish on my canvas, but not when I paint in watercolor paper.

Hi there Valentina..

Thanks for the reply. I have not heard of Koh I Noor Rapidograph pens, I will look them up. I have been using Rotring for many years now, since I was a student. They are still the best for lightfast and clarity but are not waterproof.

Thanks again hun..

Hi there Valentina. I looked up those Koh I Noor pens, very similar in design to the Rotring pens I use. Almost identical design in fact. :)
