Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday here in US. In general lines I love all the Holidays because family together + food are my favorite things in the entire world, but Thanksgiving have a special spot in my heart. I have been working in my BIG list of reasons to be grateful. Wow… my list is HUGE.
I’m not going to post here the whole list because I’m afraid you are going to fall sleep in front of your computer but I want to share with you the top 3…
I’m grateful for:
- My health
- My husband and family love and support
- Doing what I love
You have a grateful list? What are you grateful for?
If you want, click this image and download the PDF to make your own list ;)
I wish you a great Thanksgiving full of blessings and happiness.
Come back early next week because I’m having tons of things to celebrate December :)

Happy Camper
Sorry I have been MIA, but I have been in painting and paiting and paiting ;)
I’m definitely a better person if I can take time to just work in my artwork and don’t be worry about deadlines AND house chores.
You remember these pieces?
Two down
Two to go!

Ganesha, Lord of Success
Ganesha is favorite Hindu Deity. He is the son of Shiva and Parvati and has an elephant head. He is the Lord of Success and destroyer of evils and obstacles.
I have been looking for a wall hanging Ganesha to put next to the door, but I haven’t found the perfect one. During the last weekend, I decided to draw my own Ganesha and make a print.
I posted my drawing on my Society 6 and my Etsy shop, and I already ordered a T-shirt for myself :) I can’t wait to receive it!
Also, I create this other version of the drawing using the quote: “The key to happiness is having dreams. The key to success is making your dreams come true”
Hope you like it.

Me and my pets
First, THANK YOU so much for all the supporting and encouraging comments in my last post. You don’t have idea how much your words mean to me. THANK YOU! I have been learning I’m not a super duper star and not everybody will love my designs or the things I do. I really know and understand that… but still its’ hard when you REALLY like something and you don’t get the response you want, and that is life ;)
Again… THANKS! You made my day :)
OK. Now it’s time to show you more of my pet drawings obsession. I guess soon I’ll(and you will) get tired of me painting animals and I’ll switch to other subject (indeed I’m already drawings something different, but that is for other post!).
Look what I did… a little bunny! My brother decided the name is Danielle.
And because I have getting request for some custom orders of my little pets, I’m listing new “Kids Inspired art décor prints”. These 6 designs will be in my shop at the end of the day.
Happy Wednesday

Mixed feelings
Today I’m feeling:
-Disappointed. Every time I participate in any of the Spoonflower contest, I really do it because I enjoy the challenge and the contest gives me a little bit of “push” to design something. Of course, if my design finish in the Top Ten, that is awesome. Well, my last design (In woodland) wasn’t in the Top Ten yesterday :( I usually NEVER get disappointed for something like that because as an artist you learn to grow thicker skin for those situation, but honestly I feel a tad sad yesterday. I REALLY liked my design, I mean REALLY. Indeed I’m working a whole collection base in that design because I think have great potential. So… doesn't matter what they say, I still love so much little fabric ;)
Ahhh and BTW, this is my submission for the 2011 Calendar :) Here the link if you want to vote.
-Pleased. I can’t help, but every time I see my work in real products, I feel super happy.
I ordered a runner from my Envelop shop and I think looks great!
BTW, my sister Andreina have the same runner in her apartment in Amsterdam ;)
A couple of weeks ago, my husband ordered a cover for his iPhone 4. I took a picture of the case next to the original drawing :)
And the same week, Jeanne from Dirty Laundry got the same case ;)
-In love. Seriously… I love this cow now!

Dear November
Oh sneaky November… what are you doing here? Who told you to come so soon? Unbelievable! Only 2 months left and 2010 will be history :(
Usually I’m always super excited with the beginning of each month, but this time is a little bittersweet. Don’t get me wrong, I ABSOLUTELY love this time of the year, indeed October and November are my favorite months, but I feel a little bit sad about this wonderful 2010. I’m not ready for a new year full of adventures.
Well… I don’t have other option and start preparing myself for 2010 farewell. I promise to do my super best and get the maximum of the next 2 months. This year has been REALLY good to me. 2010, I’ll always remember you ;)
So… how about MORE calendars to start getting in the 2011 mood?
One of these designs is going to participate in the next Spoonflower Contest. Today is the last day to send the design and I’m still thinking which one I should send.
What you think?
P.S: My newsletter is going out of my inbox later today ;)
