Life is getting better

Yes, life is getting better. I have been 5 years and a half here in US and in the first 5 years I took maybe 2 vacations. And now in 2008 I’m going out for my SECOND (maybe third if I count my vacation in-town) vacation time this year! And again I’m going to see my BF family… YUPIIIII.

I’m going with the boy (indeed I’m leaving alone because him is already there) to the Indian Lake to spent a few quiet-nice days up there. I’m really excited about this trip because I’m looking forward to spent some days in the lake with the boy and also I know (during his fishing time) I’ll have some beautiful time to draw and create.

I’ll back next Wednesday and hopefully I’ll have nice pictures and new things to show here. In the meantime see the postcards I draw for a cool swap Amy of purplepinkandorange made! (the picture is BAD… sorry!!!!)

No Pictures!

Our "friend" Fay is not here in Miami BUT the rain is still here! Again.. no complains because I love rain (and thunders!) The only no-good thing with these kind of days is I can’t take pictures of my last canvas and drawings. Hopefully next week the sun will be here again. And taking about next week, looks like I’ll take a few days free (August 28-September 3). My BF wants to escape the Florida Heat and we are going to Ohio and spent some days in the Indian Lake. I’ll use those days to design new products and the 2009 Calendars. I’m planning new designs but I’ll have 2 o 3 designs I made in for the 2008 Calendars (because they are cute!)

And I’m planning to work in more “for kids” prints. I have 2 more in my shop. Have a great weekend and see you soon ;)

With Fay

Yes. I’m here with Fay and as you can imagine is not a lot of fun. But honestly I can’t complain at all because have been a nice reining grey day to be cozy watching the Olympics ;) And of course I can’t take picture of my last work with this beautiful weather. Hopefully in some point during the week we’ll be the sunshine state again!
In the meantime I can show you one drawing I just scan to create some prints I have in mind and the last collection of bubbles. I really like these bubbles and I’m planning to create 3 more ;)

It's been quiet around here. My SIL is in town (from Chile) and no time for computer, just having kind of "vacations in-town".

Getting ready!

As I told you before, August is going to be a great month :)
I made some changes in my site, I have to improve (big time!) the Artwork section, but that will have to wait a little bit more.

Welcome August!!

Last days I have been feeling pretty lazy and with my creativity levels down.. I guess the heat down here in Miami just affect my brain ;) But today I feel different. Today I woke up full of energy and looking forward for this new month. I don’t know why but I can smell in the air something good is going to happen.
I’m so ready to shake this month. You will see ;)
The next days are already full of plans and craft projects. One of the more important thing I’m going to do this weekend is revamp little site. I have been trying to learn out how to do the shopping cart by my own and I realize is not easy :S I decide I’ll just sell using Etsy for now and eventually I’ll hire somebody to work in my shopping cart. In the meantime I’ll re design my site to show my art work and people still can buy in Etsy. Other fantastic thing I’m going to do is a newsletter! YEAAHHH… Monday or Tuesday I’ll be sending out a cool newsletter with a great offer and other nice things.
Now I’m off to work in a digital-scrap project... is a little surprise!!
