everything happens for a reason

I’m having a burst of insomnia this week. It's really annoying and weird, because I always have been proud of my unbelievable ability to sleep anywhere anytime. Seriously.

Today I decide to just go with the flow and start working at 3:30 am. I’m not sure what this is happening to me, but maybe this will helping me to tackle my huge to do list. Or maybe, little by little I’m changing and eventually I’m going to be a morning person… or maybe I’m converting in my mom? (she NEVER EVER sleep!)

I don’t know, but I can’t sleep! Everything happens for a reason.. I just want to find the reason ;)

Have a great day!

That is a good idea to just get out of bed when not sleeping. I will try it next time. I usually force myself to stay there. awake. It is true. Everything does happen for a reason- thank you for the reminder :)

I really love this. Will you be posting it on Etsy for purchase?
Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear about the insomnia but it looks like you are making great use of the problem! It's great that you are just going with the flow as they say and waking up (or staying up) as needed. Maybe your mind wants you to create more and this is how it's telling you?

I love your blog, your artwork and your positive attitude!
Your haircut is very becoming - not everyone can wear short hair so beautifully!

Yep, the reason you couldn't sleep was because this beautiful illustration was inside your brain and impatient to pop out! I am a night owl - always have been - I rarely go to bed before midnight, and then I still wake up once or twice and have to do breathing exercises to get back to sleep again! But quite frankly, I have always believed that time sleeping is time wasted, I only sleep because I have to, not because I enjoy it.

oh that's weird. But could be that to many things are going on in your head? I used to fall asleep the moment I put my head on the pillow - BUT NO MORE....now I have to much in my head - and it continues in my dreams.... Sometimes that leads to amazing results!

This week, this describes my state perfectly! And I've even been known to sleep while riding pillion on a motorbike in the past... I wish my insomnia resulted in such sublime drawings though :) this is beautiful!

Hope your insomnia has been better (or gone) this week!
